Dear all, I would like to put this Speedmaster 145.022-69 for sale

Provenance: I bought this watch about 2.5 years ago from a local collector in Istanbul. The movement has had a general cleaning by my watchmaker who is an ex-Rolex worker, but that wasn't a thorough service which I believe the watch does not need for some more years.

Dial: Dial is beautiful, the body has no scrathes or stains. Tritium indices are all original. Some if not all the indices has had some lume loss, but this does not spoil the beauty of the dial as the indices have aged evenly, and when exposed to light, not only the surface lume but the whole indice glows evenly for 5-10 seconds. Anything that looks like a scratch on the dial is a reflection from the crystal.

Hands: The hands are either original to the watch, or they are the correct replacements which I am unable to assess.

    Case
: Asymmetric case, which may have been lightly polished in the past, retains its edges as it should. Case shows some very light wear and light scratches as one would expect. Hippocampus visible and in very good condition on the caseback, no part of it erased.

Bezel: Slightly ghosting DON bezel in overall very nice condition. It has a nice fade going on with it and the color is dark silver/gun metal rather than black from most angles.

Crown and Pushers: I believe crown and pushers are original.

Movement: Omega Cal 861, serial 31,31X,XXX. Sweep second hand and subdials resetting to 0. Winds and sets very smoothly. Very clean, free of corrosion as can be seen below.

Crystal: The crystal has only a small part of the Omega logo left at the center, I believe it's original, but since the whole logo is not there I can't be sure, it looks original to me.

Bracelet: It comes with its 1116 with 575 endlinks. The bracelet has some stretch, but this does not prevent comfortable daily use.

Overall it is a beautiful watch. Maybe not a collector piece for some as it is not a pristine one, but definitely a fine example.

Asking price: I'm asking $7,250 (now $6500) net to me OBRO plus insured shipping at cost. Payment by wire to my bank account ior we can arrange a face to face meeting in Amsterdam or Munich as I travel to these cities frequently (this may take longer to conclude though, as at present I am not planning anything concrete). Of course I am more than happy to meet you here in Istanbul anytime.

Extract is included. No returns except for a material misrepresentation, for which Buyer will have a 3 day review period.

Watch and I are based in Istanbul. I am a watch enthusiast, I have done several transactions here, I am cagkut at the fleabay since 2004 with more than 500 feedback. I will provide telephone number and my Linkedin link for whom are interested. You can buy with confidence, and I am happy to answer any questions that you may have. I tried to place as many photos as possible (none of which truly show how it looks looks in real life accurately as it looks much better than I could capture) plse ask if you'd like more.

    Thanks for the space OF.

To answer a question about the high serial number and the DON, when I got this watch it had a DNN insert which I replaced with this one. So it was most probably a DNN originally.
