Which watch have you got? It won't fit on a modern speedy. I've had 3, I sold one on eBay, another to a forum member and the one I have left is my daily wearer. It's hard to find but it can be done.
Nope, the end-links don't fit the case. I had the same dilemma and I ended up selling the modern speedy and got a vintage one instead. I also gained some nice patina
Nothing. I took it off my Apollo 11 and put it on my Moon to Mars. Perhaps the spring bars may be thinner?
I'm not sure what "modern" is, but my 1450/808 has fit well on Speedmasters from 1982 through 1991. Thin springbars may indeed be necessary.
Hmmmm... okay cool. Well 808's arent too expensive - cant hurt to try. Anyone with 808's let me know! Thanks.
