Dear fellow Omega lovers,

Back in the day my dad was the importer of Omega for the Netherlands and Belgium. When he passed away, I found an untouched 861 Speedmaster in his watch collection with the plastic still on. I wore it for a couple of months before I decided to fix it with an aftermarket strap.
I'm tired of the strap now and wanted to put the original 1450/808 bracelet back on. Sadly one of the end links went missing. Does anybody have a spare or know where to get one? Photo attached for your reference.

Thanks for the help!

Best regards,

Philippe

Call Omega! I just sold a pair of those last year and it wasn’t that long ago I bought them.

These are discontinued.

I swear it was just yesterday (likely over a decade ago).

I wonder if we ask Customer Service if they can send a file of what they still make?

It would be a very big file...

Well, I did mean to limit it to "vintage" bracelets and end links. 😁

These are incredibly hard to find from what I understand. Good luck with your search. Such an amazing bracelet. I'm in the market right now for a Speedy with an original 1450/808.

I guess that explains why my set were sold within a couple hours....

Hmmmm. What's the width of that inside gap? Is it about 10.5mm? I'll bet a set of end links from the Forstnerbands guy would work.

Haha, probably. I'm still a noob to be sure, but from my research, 1450/808 combinations are pretty rare and can go for $2k-$2.5k US by itself. That said, I have to imagine that finding just a single end link is a bit of a needle in a haystack kind of search. But again, I've not been around long enough to have confidence in that statement.

This is what I was talking about, by the way...

While it's for their flat-link, they're actually curved and are probably close enough if the gap is right.

Thanks for all the help guys! Finding a real 808 is a far stretch I’m afraid. I’m sure I’ll find some other solution.
