I believe this is correct from what I've read but I would appreciate a more informed opinion. It is said to be all original and unpolished. The photos aren't that good but they are the best I have at the moment.
Looks all correct for a -76 Nice dial, proper bezel, 633 endlinks. Looks OK to me. Care to share the price asked?
Not a bad price. A bit better than Good, a bit less than Collector. http://speedmaster101.com/price-chart-2/
I was using that chart as my guide. Seems like asking prices are all over the board but hard to confirm actual selling prices.
Nice 76. Attractive dial and hands. Everything looks correct for the reference. 4k's a tad high from a private individual but it's in really nice shape and includes the bracelet one of the nicer 76 hands and dials out there. Can't tell much about the case from the pics.
Do you think 4k is high enough to pass? I am not in a rush but want a very nice example. The case is in near perfect condition. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
I'd say it's an OK price for a good -76 with that bracelet. You could do better but not a whole lot. That dial and hands though are great and those are getting harder to find. No one would fault you for that price.
How about the bezel? There is a decent scratch at 12 o'clock... How much better do you think I could do? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
They do seem to be going up quickly... I have also been searching for a rolex daytona 16520 and just found one today... December is going to be expensive! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
The bezels in good shape matches the watch well. Honestly the price for that bezel perfect would blow your mind. I know a few people on this forum would buy the one on yours in a heartbeat for an investment. That bezel is the next DON. Many 70's 145.022 are missing it and have a modern replacement. A DON in that condition would be a few grand. I have a -76 with a dial and hands in similar shape and a much more "patined" bezel, and I love it. If your buying to wear it a solid choice. If your not going to wear it and it's an investment personally I would not buy anything later then the earlier 76 dial but would really be looking at 72 or earlier step dial. Not that it will not hold value but drop S 76 through the early 80's are identical.
I will definitely wear this watch but it will be in rotation so it won't be daily. Also I am pretty easy on my watchs. I wear a beater if I am doing something ruff. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
Not yet... but I've agreed on a price and will probably commit to it in the morning. All of the feedback has been really helpful. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G925A using Tapatalk
The more I look at it the more I think it's a solid price, especially if he gets a little off of the price. If @trey03 gets it I want pictures and for him to become a solid new member not lacking focus
