Started watching this auction for a while and it was gone in a flash. Been looking for a decent 69 for sometime but was a bit apprehensive due to what looks like service hands and a polished case.

    Anyone here got it?

The 1479 bracelet with 812 end links adds some value... and DON !

At 5.4k USD with a nice DON, a nice Dial & bracelet..and a slightly polished Case and possibly swapped hands ( don't think so and if, Tritium) makes you "apprehensive"? It's gone for good reasons you should try to find out :)

What exactly are you looking for. A NOS 321 at 7k?

Someone will put a DNN on it and re-sell. That's why we see so many mediocre early-serial 145.022s with incorrect DNN.

I believe that's a 1990s service bezel, not a legit period-correct DNN. But yes, it could well have originally had a DON that was scavenged. There is a photo of a 30,593,xxx serial number, so if I am reading MWO correctly, it falls into a range where there could be either DON or DNN.

It depends what you're looking for. It was a good value, because of the bezel, but not a watch that I would want to own, because of the hands and polished case. This is the weird situation we are currently living in because of the high value of Speedmaster parts.
