    Hi All,

Was looking at this 145.022 and noticed the dial looks too small for the case. Is that normal for these/ if not, does it have the wrong dial? Seems to check out from sm101, but gap between dial and case gives me cause to pause.

The crystal lacks retention ring/rehaut which would cover the gap between dial and case

    Agreed - no tension ring.
Nonetheless, nice looking watch - plenty of 'character'.

I'm not sure it matters in this instance, given the state of that dial and horribly over polished case.

I'm mostly drawn to the watch for the blueish DON, but is the rest too far gone to not bother?

Well, might be a good project watch.

Obviously it's subjective. One mans patina is another mans knackered.

To me that bezel is just worn, only the seller would say it's blue, the case is poor and the dial looks tired with plots that are dirty/mouldy. Not for me, even as a project. What would you keep - the movement?
