145.022-68st Bracelet references

Hi,
I have been wondering for quite some time if there are rules for this transitional speedy reference regarding its bracelet.
For example: would an earlier movement serial number be more likely to be equipped with a 1039/516? Thus a later one more likely having a 1116/575?
Or is this completely random due to overlapping production years?

Thanks in advance!

Not an expert but every original transitional I’ve seen came with a 1039/516 with a production date of the 1 ou 2 quarter of 69. A 1116/575 would also be correct according to MOW

They made the 145.022-68 for less than a year ( in 1969) so I would imagine they got fitted with whatever the dealer had most of. I doubt there is much of a pattern.

Thanks for the replies and clearing things up. I guess that I will keep the 1039 then for the looks 😎

My Uncle Art was an Omega Ad in Boardman, Ohio. When my Mom shopped at The Boardman Plaza she would let me stay with Uncle Art. I would sit next to him t his bench and watch him reach in a box of new Omega bracelets whenever He got a new Sppedmaster in and whatever bracelet came out of the original Omega shipping box went on the watch.
