I can't seem to find a definitive answer on whether or not it can be correct for a 145.012 to ever have a dial that doesn't have "Professional" marked. Anyone know?
145.012 (with the exception of the very rare racing dial version) should have Professional marked. posting a pic would help though.
yeah, that appears to be an Ed White (ref: 105.003) dial. The dial has value. You could probably sell or trade it for a correct Professional dial... depends on how much effort you want to put into making it correct. nice bezel though!
I'm not an expert at all, but the hour marker lume looks very blotchy, has this been relumed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Eagle eyes. Would correspond with @grizzlycanuck remark below. Very reasonable lume job but very careless if they have left a blob on the minute hand.
I remember chatting with the seller 6 months ago. Apparently the watch was sitting in a storage unit for years that the seller won at auction. No details on how the dial made it on that watch. Pristine DON, though.
There is also a massive amount of extra lume that spilled onto the hands. Where they connect to the dial.
