Hi Team, first time poster. I recently lost the bezel of my 1967 Speedmaster while on holiday and unfortunately there was no way to find it. How do I go about replacing this? where can i buy a 145.012-67 DON bezel? any help would be appreciated.

Yep Ebay or indeed every now and again they pop up here on this site under Watch Parts and Accessories For Sale.
There have been a few nice ones here from trusted sellers.

The obvious answer is that you just need a time machine!

    :)

realistically though, answers above are all spot on.

Ebay seems to be the best option, as others have said. Set up watch lists for DON Bezel and don't be shy about making offers. Unfortunately they go quickly if they're "reasonably" priced, and they go for a lot. Count on paying at least 2k USD if you want one in good shape.

You can buy a modern replacement and it will fit. But you loose originality.

I would also try looking for a complete 1969 Speedmaster that has a DON bezel, then source one of the next pattern (1970s) bezel and swap over. Either bezel will be correct for the '69, so while you will have affected the value of the donor watch it will still be 'period correct'.

    Boo!!!

It's safe to assume people are doing this, but I don't like the thought of debasing a nice -69 to improve an earlier model.

I just bought this one for a ridiculous low price (french offer site), just be aware, patient and ready when you finf one. No way to pay the prices requested!!

The alternative solution is to get a decimeter bezel (I bought it before I find this one) which is look very nice and reasonable prices (service bezel => almost identical to the vintage one)
