136.0049 end link/bracelet help

Hi,

I have my grandfather's Geneve, and I've been trying to get an integrated bracelet look for it as I find the 18mm bracelets a bit too slim for my personal preference.

Here's the look I'm going for (not my picture, borrowed from an ebay listing):

As far as I know, there's no official integrated bracelet for this case, the officially supported ones are:
1037/661 (1068/199 is another option as well)
1206/673

That said, in the listing I took the above picture from, it shows the end links to be 118 (or 811?):

My question is about these end links. I have not been able to find any record of an 118 or 811 end link existing, does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

I don't see 118 end links, but I do see 811 end links. They are for a 1469 bracelet, so the entire bracelet number is 020ST1469811.

Still available from Omega - this is also 18 mm...

Thank you so much for taking the time Archer!

Yeah, that bracelet seems to be for a speedmaster reduced, and the 811 end links are curved 18mm, like here:

So that confirms that these links aren't 811 but 118 (it looked like it anyway since one of the circles of the 8 seems smaller than the other).

I'll try to contact Omega directly and see.

Thanks again!

You can try Omega, but when they type in 026ST118 into the Omega Extranet t search, they will get "no results found" just like I did...

If there were 118's in the past, Omega doesn't have any now.

Good to know, thanks again, I won't bother then, saves me the time 😀

Wanted to update this in case somebody goes on the same chase as I did.
I ended up eyeballing vintage watch bracelets on eBay and getting a NOS bracelet for Seiko H601 5389 for a near perfect fit.

Hi, sorry for the late bump, but I am trying to find this bracelet as well and Haven’t gotten any luck so far. Even for the Seiko bracelet, impossible to find one…if anyone has been able to find out more about this configuration, that would be great. Another ad with this bracelet can be found here but no luck in finding the reference when I contacted the seller…

I stopped searching once I got the vintage Seiko bracelet, and Archer's reply. I'll check for the Seiko one shortly and get back to you, I believe I had found multiple on eBay back when, and had picked the best condition.

As for the other one, it looks like the end links must've existed at some point. Here's yet another listing with the same end links but with a different, 18mm bracelet:

So you're right obviously, currently I don't see any for sale (just a gold tone one), but I'm sure it'll come up at some point.

If you search for 18mm vintage Seiko bracelet on eBay, you can eye ball the results to see if anything else might fit, I saw this one for instance that looked promising (though I have no way of knowing so please don't take my word for it):

Thanks ever so much for posting the follow up photo - exactly what I have been searching for! Sorry to ask but would you mind sharing a photo of the end links from behind, either on the watch or from the original listing? I’m struggling to find a good match on eBay in the UK 🙁

Hi there. The bracelet you are looking for is the 1168 with 118 end-links. It came in two variants: 18mm and 20mm (flared towards the lugs). I’ve posted what the 18mm looks like here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CoHyZRuL1JT/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
I wanted to post an amendment to my previous response. It turns out that if you are looking for the flared bracelet for the integrated look (as posted by the original poster), you’ll have to track down the 1181 bracelet which I believe was intended for the lugless variant of this geneve. However, it’s compatible with the 118 end-links so together, you will get a seamless integrated look.

Thank you that’s very helpful. Do you know where you can get 118 end links from or if they go by another name? Google goes not seem to return any successful hits.

These can be tough to find. I ended up finding them on eBay with a search for the 1168 bracelet. Of course, you’d have to be willing to buy the 1168 bracelet just to get the 118 end-links. And even then, the 1168 doesn’t often come up together with the 118 end-links. Best of luck.
