    Hi

I stumbled over a 1171 and was wondering which production period this belongs to. The clasp has 1171 engraved but no Omega trapezoid logo. Is this braclet correct for a 70ies speedy?

    Here are the pics:

    Thanks for your opinion!

Square logo with that clasp is late 70’s-mid 80’s I believe.

Thanks Davidt. Do you think it might be correct for a 145.022-76ST?

Does it have the screw in links or the push pins? I think the 1171 with screw in links is the earliest one and then later changed to wider clasp and push in pins?

I’m not sure on exact dates, but as a -76 may well have been sold in ‘77 or possibly ‘78, Id say it could well be correct.

Agree. That being said I wouldn't pay too much for these bracelets. What is ask price?

Come with end links? If so, good deal IMO.

It would be with 633 end links.

    Cheers

The -76 came with a trapezoidal logo, and I'm pretty sure the -78 did as well. It was right around '80 that the switch to the square logo was made. Regardless, it's not too off date wise.

Yeah, my -74 has the trapezoidal logo on the clasp.

This is interesting. I bought my '76 Speedmaster in 1998 and it came on 1175 bracelet with a raised Omega logo.
Were the 1171 and 1175 fitted in the same time period or is my bracelet possibly a replacement?.
    Thanks,
    Tony

1175 is also correct for early-mid 70’s Speedmasters.

Thanks for all your comments. After those and some comparison pics from other 76 Speedmasters, I decided to look for a trapezoid version of the braclet. The braclet I posted is already gone. I will post an update as soon as I find the right braclet.

    Thanks for your support
