I am trying to remove one more link to adjust the 1171 bracelet and I do not know how to remove the end piece that is on the clasp. It seems to have a filled in hole where the screw should be. Is this normal?
See attached pictures of the sides.
    Thank you for any help!

Perhaps someone replaced a screw with a pin? You might try to gently drive it out, and see if it moves.

I tried pushing it from the other side but I didn't use much force. I will try with my watch tools

Should be stainless, so if truly rusted it's not original...

Looked like the pin isn't, pin wouldn't drive out. It's stuck in the link. The watch is 47 years old so a pin not being original is not a surprise
