1171/1 End link fit query

I took my recently acquired 145.022 off the 1479 bracelet, not because I don't like it but because I need to acquire another link. At the moment the clasp pops annoyingly open every time I flex my wrist and could result in a sudden meeting with the floor....
I had a 1171/1 bracelet on hand that was put onto my '76 Speedmaster by Omega at service back in the early 90s. At the time I quickly swapped this 1171 back to the original 1175 which was in good condition, more comfortable, in no need of replacement and luckily returned after the service.
Fitting the 1171 to my 145.22 I noticed that the 633 end pieces sit very low, is this normal?. Photo below of the 1171 and then a comparison shot with 1175/640.
I am tempted to take the bracelet off again to try and open the end links up so they sit a little higher against the case like the 640s but can't seem to find any definitive shots of how the links are supposed to sit. Grateful for any knowledge on this.
Thanks.

1171 fit looks right to me.

Thanks to you both for the responses.
Does that mean the 640 links on the other watch are sitting a bit high or are they a different fit to the 633s?

I would say that Omega fitted the end links specifically to your watch when they installed the bracelet. There were variations in watches and end links over the years; they knew how the end links were intended to be fit and did what was necessary to adjust them until they did.

Mine sit high. It depends on how much material was removed when they where originally fit.

Both bracelets were originally fitted to the 76 Speedmaster. The 1175 was original to the watch and the 1171 was fitted by Omega at service. Looks like the fitters had different views on how they sit on the case.
Thanks for all the responses, feels like there is no right or wrong on the way they both look and will leave as is. Interestingly the 1479 seems to sit somewhere in the middle...
