I am thinking about to buy the 1171/1 with 633 endlinks for my current Speedmaster. I read a lot about the quality and so on. Do you think it worth it to put in on a new Speedmaster?

Prices are around 500€ on Germany.

400$ in the US. A little rattlely but I like it. Just got it a month or so ago.

For the period correct look on a brand new bracelet.. yes.

 

I am not a huge fan of the 1171, even though I own three of them. I think the more modern speedmasters look best on the traditional bracelet and honestly on vintage I much prefer the flat link bracelets. I also much prefer the 1450 over the 1171, it looks and feels so much nicer.

What speedmaster are you looking to use with a 1171? Is that $565 USD/$500 Euro new or used?

 

I enjoyed and was happy with 1171/633 on my older Speedmaster. Didn't want to wear out my original, in my opinion fragile, original bracelet.
