Can someone tell me the difference between the 1162/172 and the 1162/173 bracelets and indeed what their specific applications. Just not sure what watch they are specified for.

    Sure Youngress,

all 1162/17x are Omega bracelets to sportwatches in the 70th and early 80th. Were used f.i. on Speedmaster Marks, Flightmasters etc. Central Spec is they all have fixed straight endlinks in contrast to separate endlinks as the Speedmaster professional used to have that days ( example: 1171/633 etc).

the 1162/173 is applicable to watches with a lug width of 20mm (such as Memomatic 166.0171, Mark II, Seamaster 166.090, or the Flat Jedi (imho)) and the 1162/172 has 22mm and works on the Mark III, -IV, -4.5, Flightmaster I and II and so on.

First 4 digits naming the type or style of the bracelet and the 3 digits after the slash classify the kind of endlinks such bracelet has.
