    Calling Omega bracelet experts!

I happen to be in possession of two 1159/154 bracelets at the moment. (Yeah, greedy, I know.)

The odd thing is, although they look identical from the outside, i.e. when being worn, they are quite different underneath. The underside of the links is different, the link pins are different (I think), the clasps are different lengths, the way the clasps clip closed is different, even the width of the middle link that joins the clasp is different. The parts are therefore not interchangable.

Pics below. The bracelet on the top in each pic has the number '11' in a circle stamped on the clasp; the bracelet on the bottom in each pic has a number '30' in a circle. Both clasps are also stamped 1159, and the end links are all stamped 154.

Anyone know anything about the two different versions? (e.g. Which came first? Which is more common? Was one of them not for the Mark II at all?)

I have also both model the circle 11 and a circle 30 , the circle 30 or in your case the model without inscription are the first generation of bracelet for MKII there are screws thoses bracelets where fitted at the beginning of the MKII release and after they use another model , the circle 11 is a more recent 1159 with no screws, but both of them are the rarest bracelets for MKII

I have a 1159 with 154 end link bracelet on my MKII racing dial . And it's stamped with 30 in the circle , can anyone explain what the difference is between the 30 & 11 stamps are please . And does anyone know how many links the full size 1159 bracelet should have .

Just for reference I have took a couple of pictures of my 1159 with 30 stamp . It looks like the links are held in by pins but I'm not 100% sure without closer inspection . Also it would be good to know just how long the 1159 was fitted onto the MKII ,or any other reference .I have read it was only used until 1969 -70 . That is exactly like mine 1159 with 30 stamp in circle and 154 ends. I bought this watch 49 years ago and unfortunately my wrist are bigger now. I've been on a hunt for links for a long time.

Good luck haven't been able to find any links. Everywhere I go I've been told to buy a new band for $450 plus the cost of extra links.
