1125 end link problem

Hello all. I have purchased an old 1125 bracelet and, finally, a fresh set of 617 end links from an AD. However, I’ve noticed that if I was to remove the current end links I will be missing a link to fit into the 617s. Firstly, can anyone give me an idea of what part I’d need, secondly, where I’d find a pair and thirdly, should I just start a fresh and buy everything new given I’ve spent £200 already?!

I’ve attached a picture of the current set up with 163 ends.

Also, thanks to everyone on here who’s helped out with bits and bobs in the past. Regards.

Furthermore, are the 163s easy to remove? - looks like they might need to be prised off.

I ended up sawing off the (integrated) end links on mine.

If we're getting into DIY I think I might cut my losses and get everything together new as a set. Thanks all the same.

OP has different end link already and he can't remove that or the 617 won't align with the bracelet.

Thanks for the replies. I'm biting the bullet and starting a fresh (I'd need to buy new links still to fit the 617s even if I hacked off the 613s) - enjoyed trying to assemble parts whist it lasted! Would end up paying nearly as much as buying from new.

For those interested here's a link for a guy selling the bracelet and end links (£335) for a lot cheaper than Swiss Watch Spares (£459.99) and fresh from an OB (£375).

You only need to get rid of the parts protruding from the middle "link" of the current end link to make it fit the 617 end links. It's your money and you can do what you want with it 😀

Ah so you mean you'd saw off along the red lines and file it down smooth? I hadn't thought of that. Good thinking.
