I swear I'm going crazy. I scored a nice 7-row beads of rice gold-plated bracelet off eBay. Problem is, the end links are 18mm wide, and I keep buying watches with 11/16" lugs!

Yes, this is completely true, I know how to read a vernier caliper.

For example, I have a KX 6275 Seamaster Calender currently being restored by my local wizard, but the end links of my bracelet, assumed a contract bracelet because no numbers (maybe fake? Who knows?), just won't fit.

Have any of you heard of this? I have 11/16th NOS Omega straps, thank dog, but I like bracelets too.

Any idea where to find said end links?

    Thanks

I think it would be easy to carefully file away 0.5mm from the end link. I have made modifications like this many times. Just go slowly and carefully using a very fine file, checking after each few strokes of the file.
