Hello everyone, I got my SpeedMaster back from service and want to share with you the pics I snapped. I specifically asked that the watch case was to be left untouched, as many will see, it misses its 1506/16 bracelet, I unfortunately cannot find one yet! I have a 1125/633 which I don't know the SpeedMaster it belonged to, could have it been a service bracelet?
Very nice My 105.012-66 CB has a very close number to yours, 2495 78xx, and also has similar colour lume, mine looks like the original lume has been removed. Mine needs a pretty major service though
One of the hands misses the lume, I don't know if it shows in the pics. I asked them not to touch anything, just servicing it. No reluming, no polishing, I did not want them to take away that patina that I grew to love since I got the watch.
Watch looks great. Did you change pushers? Looks like they are not pushed all the way in case? Maybe I am wrong.
Hello, I personally didn't change them but the watch was gifted to me just 4/5 years ago. Here are a few more pics, maybe you can help me out in understanding if they are ok or not. What I do remember is that when I compared my watch to the measures on SpeedMaster101, they seemed to be correct for my reference...
Pushers are correct, dont worry. Just they look like they are not pushed all the way in the case! Looks like they need 1mm more to be all the way in! Btw, beautiful watch !
I get back to the post after having it checked, they said it's supposed to be like that... any chance someone has a picture of their 105.012-66 to check if it's like mine?
Here you will see that the pushers should be slightly more pushed in the case. http://speedmaster101.com/105-012/
