Crappy pictures I know, they are the best I could get. No bracelet. Wrong DNN insert. 25 million serial (wrong for a 105.012) Price is low.

Relumed dial for sure, and a pretty sloppy job too

Worn caseback, polished case, serial out of range. Is it CB-facets even, on upper case?

    Unattractive specimen IMO

why would you want to buy this one? Speedy-fever? Would you buy a 1966 Porsche with a digital dashboard and a 1995 engine? Keep cool, yours will come along!

Slipped my attention..the case is in fact a CB. A watch to be avoided by all means.

Ask the seller where he got the parts from. This Speedy is obviously assembled from a parts bin..and he is a watchmaker, he should be able to answer that question

Everything has been said here, this watch is to be avoided at all cost. The price is definitely not good for its condition...
Sometimes it's better to spend a bit more for a good example, it will always be the best possible move !
Good luck with the hunt :)

This watch is best described by a new term coined from that eye-opening thread : it’s more honest than ‘Rolex-honest’ ;)

(Edit : ‘more honest’ coz at least you can see what’s wrong here)

I would spend 7K ONLY if you really really like the band :)

    A 25.XXX number is good for a 105.012-66.

But this is not a 66. Read all post before replying.

EDIT: sorry, he removed relevant pictures, caseback is a 65 HF.

Well 25m might be right in the upper case, so it could be a case back swap and then it could be an otherwise original 105.012-66 with a contemporary service bezel. Though we would need a few more digits of serial to compare with known speedmaster movements.

I am recalling the old london watchmaker who told me he would care not which speedmaster back went on which, as he serviced them in batches in the 1970's.

Except here I agree with others that this is a mess of parts, thrown together.

Look at the colour difference in the bridges:
