    Hi folks,
Hope you can help me out here; I am a newby here. I bought my first Swiss watch as a teenager in Lugano. It was an Oris Big Crown. 20 years later I am still loving it. For my 30th anniversary I bought myself an 80s two tone Rolex Datejust. Most likely will sell it to finance future watch purchases.

Now its time to big up the watch game. I would love to buy the Ed White reference since its an icon watch and its the watch with decent space air time pedigree.

So. this watch I can buy for most likely 3500 euros. Would you guys pull the trigger or not?
    Cheers, Wouter from Amsterdam

At that price, it would be a "go" for me.

Yes thos pics have been used before in scam listings.

    Be wary.

..also, that price is too good for an Ed White, so...

Too cheap for a genuine Ed White, seemingly original hands & dial too. If it's genuine snap his hands off, but would do a face to face deal based on above comments.

One of the reasons we're here on this great forum

Spend a bundle. Save a bundle :whistling:

Guys thats a great advice. The seller had an earlier similar Ed White qualified ad on eBay. I asked for BIN. Price was 3500 euro's. I decided not to buy and wait for the bidding to continue. Today I asked him if the item had been sold. It was. So i asked if he had other watches for sale. So he showed up with this particular watch. Asking price $4500USD. Quite remarkable that he has another Ed White for sale with same reference from same year 1965... looks like scam guy. Will asked for newspaper picture. Many thanx for your comments. Keep you guys posted

It is a scam. He has been on ebay for a while for a few months. He was first in Peru now in Spain.
