Looks pretty good to me. Even a bit tropical? Some sign work on the movement screws with them being slightly scratched. Serial number is within the range too.

Not long ago this would have seemed expensive but not now.

Am I missing something? If not this one will probably go fast.

I think the only thing holding it back is going to be import duty, otherwise it would have sold ten times by now. "77 viewed per hour" says eBay!

    Hi

Depends where in the world you are....if in the UK & therefore subject to HMRC you will be looking at approx £1300 GBP !

If over the pond , very possibly zero , zilch & squidly....

I'm just watching to see how long it lasts :)

So if you have the time (and desire) it would be cheaper to fly over there and pick it up...

Hmmmm.....EMS shipper, and maybe a hint of tropical? This is like getting 16 in Blackjack...

If the lume wasn't moss, I think I would pull.

Probably looks better on the wrist that it does under harsh light macro shots... but it has to be attractive to you, or it will wear on you.

I'm honestly surprised it hasn't gone yet. Checking the alert link when I got into the office I fully expected it to be gone. I guess it probably is import duty holding it back.

Here in the US, there's a good chance you'd have to pay duty, but I'm not sure how much. If I had the $8900 to buy it I would have already!

I have bought some stuff from Japan (not quite as expensive, but $500 US last ebay purchase) and had it shipped EMS, and I didn't pay any duty on it to Canada...depends on the day. :)

Did they put the price up, I thought it was less when I originally looked this morning?

    Hi

Nope - $8900 USD / £6200'ish GBP is the same....' Best Offer ' showing as the only revision.

There's £1200 GBP of 7912/6 in it....so £5k GBP for the head....possibly going to be a bit of a ' bundle ' when the Seller sorts out the Payment option ? :)

I am experiencing customs duty regularly now. Back in 2015, zero. 2016? 3 times, and its only March.

The problem with this is that if you do get hit by (US) customs, the amount is above $2500, which means you need to file formal entry. This is not a slip that comes with the package which you have to pay at the post office. Customs will block it until a formal entry is made - basically hire a customs broker to do the work for you, because you can't do it on your own. A bit crazy since this is the same procedure as when you import a 40-foot shipping container full of widgets (which I also do for my other businesses). Broker alone will charge at least $300, on top of customs duty.

And customs brokers are regional. My NY customs broker won't work on an import that comes in through the port of LA.

I got this just yesterday for a recent import:
