    Hi OF,
I haven't posted for a while but would really appreciate any opinions on this piece. My main concern is regarding the serial numbers of these models. I note parameters in MWO and S101 but seem to be seeing later serials with extracts with the 105 003-63 case back. The serial of this one is 24066624 which seems to fit into the 1965 category but also the start of the '67/8' range?. I agree. The movement number is too late for a 105.003-63. In addition, I would expect to see an asymmetric TT dial engraving (or no TT at all) on a 63, see below.

    Serial number should be 2052xxxx
    Crown is later
    Pushers are later
    Bracelet is later
    Maybe a caseback change ?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info.
Am I to assume that the dial should have the asymmetrical TT for a true 105 003-63 case back. If so, to make this piece somewhat more correct, I'm best looking out for a 105 003-65 case back and appropriate movement.
I'm really only wishing to undo someone else's mess!. I bought it yesterday with the knowledge the movement was incorrect but missed the asymmetrical TT part (cheers Gemini4)!. Thought I'd just be hunting down a 2052 movement.
The dial, caseband and bezel appear reasonable and due to cost I think it's worth the expense.

Hmm. That mid-case isn't correct for a -65 though as it lacks the bevels. I don't think these have been polished away, it simply looks like a -64 case to me.

Do you have some more pictures of the lugs?

Unfortunately you need to consider the possibility it's an out an out franken.

Hate to beat a (by now) dead horse....serial too late + dial problematic, that case

    Too many issues here
