I have only one. I had an opportunity to buy a second one with alpha hands in similar condition but missed out. That was a big missed opportunity and one of the 4 or 5 that still sting.
This “related” pair of 105.002-62 Speedmasters make me smile. Movement numbers are 16 digits apart but sourced on opposite sides of the globe. Pretty sure they are all original with matching 7912/6 4-63 bracelets.
I don't know if you have the same observation but I have found it easier to find 2998s and 105.002s in top condition than 105.003s or even 105.012s though those latter 2 references sold in greater numbers.
I think it’s more timing and luck. Both of my examples were sourced 4 years ago. Both via online listings. The first was a buy it now on Ebay. I didn’t hesitate long and pulled the trigger. As the seller was an hour away, I drove up the next day to pickup in person. The seller informed me that he had received a very angry message from another ebayer in Switzerland who claimed he had hit the BIN button only to find out the item was gone. I guess seconds count. The second example was found in Japan with the usual crappy pictures and shaky description. Until the watch arrived, I did not know if I had purchased a 62 or an Ed White.
