My observations -
Serial inline with age.
Wonderful case and case back
Need appropriate crown fitted. Have on hand.
Dust cover is service replacement. WTB on standby.
New crystal. Am fine with that
Overall I am very happy! I may have said that already.

The pre moon Speedmaster reference manufactured in the smallest numbers - I don’t think the market value has caught up with that fact - yet. Enjoy.

Had to make the call. Do it, commit to it, and realize if I buggered it up, I’m buying a new stem. A quick file of the end and the crown went in fine. Check the stem for any introduced damage in the vice and bingo...

 

Very nice! I am pretty sure it has the same dial(high swiss made) as Ed White had on his 105.003 which just adds to the cool factor.
