Hi guys! I'm a new member to this great forum. My first question is about the stainless steel bracelet 1040. Short background....I inherited a Speedy 145.022-69 from my father 20 years ago. By that time it was equipped with the 1040 bracelet with 734 end links. As you are perfectly aware of, this was a wrong combination in many ways. I managed to get a hold of a 1171/1 with 633 end links, which is a more suitable combination, even though a 1039 would have been the perfect choice. I know that the 1040 bracelet is used with the Constellation (168.017, 168.0056 and others...), but then with the 518 end links. But, can anyone tell me to which case references the end links 734 were used? (Picture from ofrei.com) Many thanks in advance! Best regards, Magnus aka xmagols
Looks like it would fit many round case Constellation and Seamaster models. May even fit the straight lug Speedies.
Hi guys! Thanks for the replies. Yes, the 18 mm end link 518 (with the 1040 bracelet) is the one for the Connies. You guys with the bracelet will probably verify that. I have found one reference with this bracelet combination. Omega Seamaster ST 196.0107 http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/trying-identify-omega-seamaster-267585.html Have you seen any other case references?
