    Hi guys,

My 1039 and 516 has bent end links and ends on the bracelet from age and use, However it is minor just wondering if there is any way to get them flat without ruining anything.

Just curious to see if anyone has had this issue before,

    thanks

Easy to reshape the 516's; not so easy to get the dents out of those end links. Brass-jawed pliers like thesePurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network can be very useful when working on bracelets.

so the links on the end of the bracelet i should just leave alone? those are the ones with the most uneven shape as seen... not sure if id be comfortable myself doing it

You could take it to a jeweler, and see if they could do it. The link would have to be removed, opened, re-shaped, and put back. A lot of work, and not easy to do. I would keep my eyes open for a parts bracelet.

i could do that if i knew i could trust the jeweler. definitely seems plausible

Do you need the length of the bracelet to fit your wrist? If not, you could remove a couple of links and use the centers as new end links.
Note the center links all appear the same. You could move the bent ones to less conspicuous places on the bracelet.

Then move some of the center links around. So the bent ones are not staring at you.

It's not that difficult, but please read this carefully and be absolutely sure you can do this before attempting!

If I remember correctly, the pins are fixed and the links are loosened or tightened by widening/pinching them at the inside seam. It does not take much spread to remove/add them. Use some gentile trial and error.

I would not fool with the spring links, just the fixed links.

It is always good to cover all the bases, so there is no confusion.
