Have any of you guys have repaired or have had repaired the fixed links on the 1039 bracelet. In particular can the fixed links be straightened out flat again on the faces or can you replace these links successfully without noticing any repair damage ? Thankyou

I've worked with 1039 sprung links, not the fixed. A recent post here with a similar bracelet suggests it's possible, though.

Thankyou WS that pretty well wraps it up, a good solid knife to pry open, then a set of smooth faced pliers to close.
I expect I could use the pliers to remove the creases in the two end links.
I have been trying to source two of these links expecting the ones that are on the bracelet were beyond repair.

Definitely take the bracelet off the watch before you work on it. It's not hard, and there are numerous youtube videos showing how to do it.
