Today I was at a small watch repair shop looking for an old Omega buckle, when the owner pulled out a box that had some NOS Omega leather straps in it, and two bracelets. One was a 1171, the other a 1035. While not correct for my Speedmaster 105.012, I decided to buy it for a more than reasonable price. In the same package came two different end links that I can find very little info on. One is very clearly marked "7", the other one might be 7 or 4. I've been unable to find any decent information about these end links, so was hoping someone could chime in and inform me what bracelet these go with. All I found was from a WUS sales thread stating "No7 end links 18mm for 7077, 7912" Pictures aren't my best work, but I hope they suffice. Last one is the bracelet, which looks pretty decent save for some scratches.
No.4 endlinks are the 18mm version of no.6 endlinks. I think more commonly seen on 7912's on Constellations etc, but probably ok for a 1035 on an 18mm watch.
Thanks! I keep being amazed by the combined knowledge on this forum. Are these two a set of end links? (Because they are differently shaped) As you have noticed by now, I know very little about end links
Some 4s seen here on a Connie... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-O...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
The stamp on mine doesn't look like that "4". Is it a set of 7's then? Additional question about the bracelet: Although it came with 18mm end links, would this still be the correct bracelet for a Speedmaster 105.003 in accordance with the chart?
Cool, thanks! Any theories on how these end links and bracelet ended up together? (Just out of curiosity) I was hoping the bracelet would be at least a period correct, model incorrect one for my 105.012, but would this even fit (provided with correct end links)?
I think the last link on the 1035 won't fit the 20mm ends. Your best bet may be to sell the 1035 and buy a 1039.
Thank you Sir! I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to return some collective wisdom to this forum. Right now I'm just leeching the hell out of you guys
I think it will. The 7912/16 was the bracelet end link combo supplied with the first 20mm lug professional, the 105.012-63
Well, I don't have a 105.12-63 anyway, so, yeah, maybe it works. Could try it. There's a 1039 buckle on eBay right now. Maybe some 516s would work.
I took some daylight pictures of the end links. Does this look like a matching set of No 7 end links? I will be selling them, and don't want to provide incorrect information.
It looks like a nr.4 and a nr.7, clearly not a pair. FYI there are also slightly different iterations of the nr.4 endlink
Does omega still sell the 1035 bracelet? I have seen it on a couple seamaster 120s and it looks amazing on it!
Unfortunately you really need to start again with the right bracelet end link combination I don’t know if you realise but the numbers stamped on the fold plate where the 1035 is stamped is the year month of manufacturing so it’s hard to tell but maybe it’s 1 over 67 so January 1967 is where you start and you have to determine if that is coeval with the watch Secondly the links have to match the lug space 18,m 19mm 20mm or what have you I am sorry I am being a bit simplistic but you have probably the wrong bracelet certainly with the wrong links and they aren’t even a pair
