There seems to be some black paint coming off the dial.

It's an uncommon piece. Will it be a collector's piece like Ed White, 2915 or 2998 Speedys? Ask Carnac the Magnificent.

$1,250 is a joke. The ones I've seen have been less than half that and without the issues this one has.
