    Hello, is this authentic and in original condition? If yes then is it worth to buy @ USD400? Any input is much appreciated.

    I managed to find another similar one and except for the difference on the dial colour, the rest is pretty similar.

    1970’s styles are an acquired taste. If you like it, the price is not ridiculous. I wouldn’t count on this model being highly collectible.

    Not a big fan of date-date models in general. They take extra time to set up the day and date. This is not an issue if you wear every day, except that they will get out of sync with 30-day months, etc.

    Some Gyromatic models have 36,000 beat per hour movements. I can’t tell if this is one of them. With those watches, it is critical that the movement is properly serviced as the balance wheel is moving at twice the speed as a standard movement (18,000 bph).

    If a GP watch needs parts, they can be difficult to find.
