1000th post & thought I would pick out some picture highlights to mark the journey , I just enjoy watches .
Congrats! That’s a wonderfully diverse collection and nice to see such a variety of price points (not all $$$ watches)- you are truly not a watch snob- you like what you like and that what it’s all about. Oh, and I love that you lumped most of the Rolex’s in the middle with the rest of the collection and ended with a Seiko.
Thank you for your kind comments & I get as much pleasure from my lower value watches as I do from the higher valued . But watch ownership is so much more to me , it's all about the enjoyment & the experience of what is one of my greatest pleasures & has been since I received my first Timex 45 years ago ( I still own it & it's one of the pictures ) . Also as you can see by my posts to likes ratio , I also enjoy seeing other peoples watches & being part of this great forum .
Thank you & err not exactly sure how many I have , but it's around 50ish . Some are worn by family members though, as I would rather they were used & enjoyed as I don't own any safe queens .
Your collection has such a great deal of diversity in brands, styles, colors, price points, age––very nice! I want my collection to grow similarly. How did you get into watches and do you still have your first one?
Really like those day date subs and also that basic Tudor on the strap - what model is it ? Never seen one.
Great collection! If you could only choose one from your collection, which one would it be (ignoring the prices)?
Thanks KeithS , got into watches about 45 yrs ago when I received my 1st Timex & that's what started my passion for them . I still own my 1st Timex & it still works .
Hi budgewink , I'm not sure on this one . I did try to do some digging on this watch but there's not a lot about these watches . I think it was probably made in the 70s but will happily stand corrected .
