Hey guys, I've been here since Oct 10. I was over on WUS a little before that, but I found the atmosphere there unwelcoming. Since landing here, I haven't looked back. Here's what I've landed in that time. And individual shots.. And finally a shot of some pre-omega stuff..
good start....now we are looking for GREAT next 6 months follow up... hopefully my encouragement add another 10. ......glad to enabling you....
It would never have happened without a tremendous amount of help from everyone on this forum! Thank you all for the guidance and encouragement and of course, the enabling!
You've accomplished in six months what some take years to accumulate! All examples are stunning... Is that a olive green Mudman I see...
I presume you timed your 1000th post to coincide with the arrival of your wonderful 105.002-62? Good timing and great collection! And, WOOWOO, watch your back, I'm 1/3 of the way to 1000!
I am glad to see this post. It allows me to feel better about myself. The next time I am on my phone looking at watches or browsing this message board and my wife asks what I am doing, I can respond, well at least I am not like Odd Boy. Nice job Odd Boy. I have some catching up to do. ((she happened to walk into the office as I was writing this post, saw me looking at the watches and just started shaking her head))
My wife nearly fell off her chair laughing the other night when she caught me snapping a pick for the wruw thread. She says I'm addicted. I say I'm obsessed. I am seriously, SERIOUSLY taking a break from watch buying though. Some parts here and there, yes, but no more watches for a while. Every one of these was a bit of a hunt, some turned out better than others, but I wanted them all. The linen dial was the only 'on a whim' pickup 'cause I wanted something with those alpha hands. Edit: unless/until my '68 transitional shows up....
Ya, ya, ya, if I had a dollar for every time I said that. I was thinking I would be taking a break as well. Then I come on this message board as see posts like this and that gets me thinking. What if I just buy one more, then that will be my last one.
Well, other than a '68 transitional, I got nothing on my listed. Enablers: keep suggestions to yerselves
