After years and years of admiring the PloProf, I happened upon this gem on ebay Saturday night. A one owner, all original example with a great provenance from an IMCA member. Needless to say, I am thrilled with the watch which makes it a lot easier to sell a few pieces to make room for this beast! Apologies for the poor pics.

All original, nothing has been replaced, the dial's color is closer to the MKII versions and has faded to a very nice medium blue. I will take better pics to show the true color and patina, although these are somewhat close...in real life it is softer.

I got the Omega mesh, and while I was put off by the polished links, I think that it will age nicely over time to match the case, and I might speed up the process! Blue Isofrane with RS buckle arrives tomorrow. The best glamour shot of the watch from this weekend.

 

Geez, did a little old lady who only wore it to church on Sundays own it before you? It's damn well preserved.

 

Owned by a professional diver who according to his grandson, coveted this watch, and it shows. The mesh bracelet is incredibly comfortable.
