I think it is a term of endearment. Your UG loves you back. :p::rimshot::

Ranfft lists HON as a US import code for UG.

I am by no means an expert but I think the codes relate to importers rather than manufacturers. The import code for Henri Stern was HOX, which I think is why you see HOX on some UG movements.

    Hello,
Does anyone knows if an Universal sold in the USA in 1937 could be without the "Import code" UOW engraved on the movement ?
    Thanks to all.
