“Blooming” on 2533.50 America’s Cup 18 K Gold bezel?
I’ve come across a pretty clean specimen of this watch for a great price but the bezel is showing a faint gold hue. This solid 18 K Gold bezel is still “matt-finished” so it doesn’t appear it was discolored by polishing. Any input; can this be restored to it’s original color?
I don’t see a lot of wear evident, but these bezels can be refinished, so it’s possible that this one has been and that is why it looks more yellow than expected.
It could also be the lighting, so hard to tell without the watch in hand. The bezel will always be a slightly different colour even when new…
It’s an expensive bezel to replace so if there’s any doubt I would find a better example.
