This is the black dial I was asking about straps for. It is currently on a brown strap off another watch, so I've put in an order for some new straps today.

Your very lucky, I literally was going to put a bid on this one but I fell asleep early and forgot about it! . I don't know who would have won it, but the price certainly would have ended much higher. Nice catch!!!!!

I've bought a couple of lighter brown/tan/honey straps do will see what works best. I agree brown looks good - black on black actually makes it harder to see and appreciate the black dial. I tried beads of rice on my other black dial Seamaster, I quote liked it, as it accentuated the black dial, but the Missus didn't like it, so I've removed it.
