I picked this watch up at an estate sale back in January and it wears a little too small for me so it's time to find it a new home. The watch runs well but no service history is known. Here's a little bit about the watch - Case measures 34mm/1.35" wide case (not including the signed crown) x 40.6mm/1.6" long Case measures 10.7mm thick The caseback has a set of scratches Dial is in very good condition with very small debris seen under a loupe - some of the pictures shown are crystal scratches and not dial scratches Omega crystal has a few scratches Signed crystal 24 Jewels Cal 551 signed movement Watch runs well No history of last service Serial number dates the watch to approximately 1967 I'm asking $1,000 shipped within the CONUS by US Priority Mail. I'm open to shipping to members outside the US so please message me to discuss. I have the watch listed here for more pics and info. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360963914266&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thanks! I sent pics to Al for his review and he thought it looked like "either dried oil or maybe even the black goop that the old O-rings turn into over the years". He didn't think it was corrosion and thinks it will come off during a service. I'm taking the watch to my watchmaker this morning to get an idea of how quickly he could have the watch serviced.
