what is your definition of transitional?

 

Make it a bit easier ....

1968 Speedy with 861 Movement AND Applied Omga logo on the dial. But wait, there's more !!!!!!! ....

I totally agree with you, but I have seen other speedy owners describe their watch as transitional just because it has the 861 but with the plain pre-qualified caseback.

 

For me, thats a "transitional back" model
