Totally agree, popped it on a strap with the intention of wearing it to work (manual) quickly changed my mind as it looks to nice to trash. Sad that such a piece has no real financial value in the watch world.

Agreed. For me, Timex is the only other watch brand (as well as Omega) that I have an emotional attachment with. I was given a Timex as my first watch by my Gran when I was 6 or 7 years old, she passed away not long after, I really wish I was still in possesion of that watch. I sense a small collection of low priced Timex watches in my collection in the near future...
