Somehow the dial lacquer has deteriorated with interesting effect: rainbow colour reflection. I saw similar phenomenon happened to Ashley/dsio Cal 320 Gold chronograph. My other Grand Luxe does not suffer this symptom.
No known phrase for this symptom I've read anywhere. So for now I call that "rainbow dial", hopefully it will catch popularity as "patina" or "ghost bezel" and add value to the watch :p .
On second thought, this symptom is relatively rare to be found and accepted as mainstream WIS phrase :( .

How about "Rainbow Tropic-Tobacco"? That would certainly add a dollar or two to the asking price.

Fathers Day yesterday was spent doing typical Dad activities, moving furniture between houses and clearing the garden. Need a safe beater for such activities.

If that's your beater, I would like to know your safe queen ;) (btw is that a 14790 or Jumbo?)

Jumbo 5402 SA. Well, there are others too and I never used a Calatrava for heavy work (to the best of my recollection). In fairness, it is steel (mostly), and very flat on the wrist.

Bubbleback today. Now if only this watch were 36mm instead of 32!

Nice! Was this Great White a recent buy? Haven't seen it in your WRUW posts before (either that or I am getting forgetful)

Awesome watch haga888! I've seen it in person at the local Nomos dealer and it is just phenomenal. That watch and the Blaugold both look out of this world.
