Omega 125 - recently acquired from a forum member and loving every minute of wearing it!!

 

I prefer the rust outside the watch as well. Came across this and thought - maybe more than a bit of lubrication needed here. I wouldn't mind picking up a 13-20 and I'm willing to consider a bit of wear, but I think that this might not be for me. Conor

 

That seems like is on its way back into nature! Found it of a pier or something?

 

I'd get that serviced, the oils will have dried up and you'll risk damage if you continue to wind and wear it.

 

Sounds like definition of a Pessimist = Optimist with some previous experience!

 

On sale on Ebay - definitely an optimistic seller. The running seconds hand was loose under the crystal, and I think that the pinion had rusted right through.

 

5402 back on the wrist today. Been wearing manual-winding watches so much recently, the instinctive urge to hand-wind it is hard to resist.
