Norm, those short hands reminds me of my John Wanamaker chronograph: I need to get that out to wear tomorrow...
FDR wore the same watch (Branded by Tiffany) both had (have) the upgraded 17j movement produced later in '44. I find that interesting....
WOW What a "What Are You Wearing Today" extravaganza. There are so many beautiful shots that I'd wear out my "Like" button if I clicked on all of them, so I'll just sit here and salivate. Beautiful watches folks, keep it up Cheers' Jim
Not being at work this week, it was either start re-decorating the main bedroom or........ Case and finish timing the watch I serviced on Good Friday - no competition really. Zenith Sporto from the mid '50s with the lovely 120 movement. Zenith's first hacking movement and they didn't cut any corners in achieving that.
If there was ever a contest for the most comfortable wearing "divers watch" I would enlist this one: EternaMatic Chronometer. Extremely slim for a diver at just under 10mm height, inwards slanted case and (outer) diameter of about 40mm wo crown just sits so nice on the wrist. Readability is excellent, and the high grade 2892/A2 beating inside should not need any introduction!
