Hi Adam, if I had the choice between this Benrus Sky Chief and a Rolex Air King I would prefer the Benrus! Great watch Reiner
Hi MMMD, nice Zenith with a printed original dial (automatic or automatis?, printed Star) Do you remember my Teheran watch. I believe my watch was also original! Regards, Reiner
Hi Reiner- Yes, I remember your watch. It looks perfect, which I suppose is part of what makes it controversial. The finish on my watch's dial is clearly very old; there is a patina with lots of tiny spots, including one in the open space of the "c" in automatic that might make it look to some like an "s". The raised paint in the numerals is quite old-looking as well, under a loupe. Open, printed stars are not uncommon, especially in Zeniths imported into or manufactured in France. And I feel that the combination of "IMPORTE DE SUISSE" and "SWISS" is so strange that it must be true! I see that my watch might also spark some controversy, though I believe it is completely original. I will take some better photos with the macro lens and post it in the Zenith forum.
Decided on something avec waffle... After painstaking attempts of fitting a Bor bracelet, and failing!
Had to have Andy Murray in this shot somewhere - fantastic tennis and a well deserved winner imho . You all know he is Scottish don't you
I like that strap on that watch. I'm wearing the VC again for the 3rd day in a row, and after work I'm grabbing the Breitling like I did last night.
Its hard not to, my Scottish mate reminds me at every opportunity. Mind you he also reminds me about Sir Jackie Stewart and Mel Gibson even though Braveheart was a movie and Mel Gibson only acted in it
A classic pie pan on some lizard today... Then I think I'll switch to the PG Seamaster Then this: Oh, and I was naked again, doh!
Hi Alex, both a very beautiful watches with original dials. A ten sided crown for the 14381 Connie on the right would be the next project Reiner
