I spotted this on eBay and it got me wondering whether there are any possible, twisted, second meanings to the phrases, " The dial is original never touched" and "Dial: Original never restored"? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VERY-RARE...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item540f5ba137Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I know we debate the use of the word original with regard to the lump of brass with printing, but how about something as blatantly not original to the watch as this?
Ooo shiny! That box is ticked off - done! Likely intended to mean original manufacture parts (paint in this case?) are there? Even if not the same parts present at original shipment, I think. So, puzzled by this one!
It just amused me that the seller takes so much pain to stress the originality of the dial but the dial itself lies when you look at the movement photos.
