    It is certainly an interesting watch. I have never seen a gold plated Zenith that was chronometre rated but that doesn't mean they never made one.

    Zenith were happy just to make movements that could be certified as chronometres - they didn't go in for the bulk manufacture of them like Rolex or Omega. Essentially, they offered a few up for testing and there is no real difference between those that were certified and those that weren't (other than the marking on the dial and/or the movement.

    Hi I saw one of these in Parma , Italy fair last November. Certainly has the style and look of 135 but not the movement.

    It was not sold. The bids did not reach the reserve price. Highest bid $ 500
