And by that I mean Lemania branded watches. Not Lemania powered watches. After all they were a more priceworthy buy compared to Omega back in the days. More value for money so to speak...and no offense all Omega lovers! Found this the other day, and I fell for it instantly! Fantastic condition for being a watch nearly about 65 years of age! What other Lemania´s are there out there, on this forum?? Show me please!
That's a good looking watch. I 2 register chronos, and those hands work great with the dial. Of course, all this means DIBS!
Very nice bi-compax ! 27 Chro powered in a 35 mm case ? Early TG 195 Swedish army at this stage, this neglected brand deserves attention IMO
Not so good condition.....onlything I know about this watch is that previous owner get it 1950 so if someone can tell me any information of this model. Thank you
Noodia: correct on both. @JE: Excellent watches as always, when in your collection! Tony: Awesome supercompressor! Apa: cal 3000 powered Lemania late 40ies with fancy lugs. Looks like a chromed case with wearthrough. Nevertheless not without charm! Their www military model in the 40ies also used chromed cases, which is a sign, from that time, of having a little to much focus on cost effiency IMO....
Let's add the usual (Swedish) suspects, even though not new to the thread. The SwAF which I have courtesy of Johan, quite the match for the Cairelli and a later Tg195, which houses one of my favorite little complications. For those not familiar, the push of the button zeroes the second hand and pops the crown out for setting. Set the time, puch in the crown and you're in business, time perfectly synchronized with the other members of your unit.
Some I've crossed during GTGs, sorry for poor photos quality, French wine doesn't help... early 80s military (?) TG and others, all in impressive condition and this 15TL that broke my heart during a short stay home
That Lemania SAAF chrono is at the top of my Lemania wish-list! I had the chance some years ago to get one @USD 2800, but was outbid despite I added an appr USD 800 on top of the third bidders highest bid. It went one on eBay last week @GBP 3250, but I was unable to make a shot at it, due to the unfortunate fact that I´m broke after this years vacation!
