    Ah, mybad

lume is the "paint" used to make various things on the dial glow as to be legible in the dark. In the case of the dynamic, all of the numbers are fully lumed. the older stuff turns a pleasing to the eye creamy caramel color (the eyes of 99.9% of serious collectors).

new lume will be white or bluish.

it's all a little more complicated than that but I ain't answering noes mores questions lol

I say you save for a bit more and go for a speedmaster 3510

That's what I'm doing. Can't wait to get one

Try one of the vintage watchseller websites or trusted Fora to get a good watch. I would suggets www.sometimeago.com (yes I run that site) but there are only trusted members that can insert their own watches for sale. Watches are honest and prices are fair!

Not sure why you haven't grabbed the Lemania chrono on the ST+A site at $500. It's a transitional piece, somewhere between the Omega cal. 320 and 860.

It's not perfect, but at that price, you have some room to work.

P.S. There's also a nice Excelsior Park chrono right at your price limit and a Croton with later automatic Lemania movement for a little more.

That Tissot Seastar chrono looks nice but it has the wrong hour, minute and centre chronograph hand. In addition the case should not be high polished but have a patern. And the dial is not so white anymore. Do compare it to this one: http://www.sometimeago.com/tissot-pr516-chronograph-3-register/
It measures 36mm without the crown.

By the way...if you want a Lemania chrono with bigger case: http://www.sometimeago.com/rotary-lemania-chronograph/
I am sure if you bid the seller 1200 USD he will accept! :whistling:
