Hi all, MrsCanberra wants a wall clock. As a WIS, I feel weird having a $10 from KMart. What wall clocks do you have? Ta Daniel
No quartz clock on the wall here. I use this instead: I guess I could get one of those mounting brackets that go on the wall. If one wants to use one, better secure it well. These are very heavy! Far more accurate than any mechanical watch. It only "ticks" twice per minute. Take care, gatorcpa
Which room is it for? What sort of decor will it have to suit? French Provincial, Shabby Chic, American Traditional, Swedish Modern, English Oak and Leather, Aussie Eclectic, Doesn't Matter.
Goes anywhere, and the design is timeless, But it keeps time http://www.formanddesign.com.au/sto...5cm-wall-clock-brushed-aluminium-white-facee/
Mauthe Electric, 34cm (Mechanical movement with battery driven automatic winding of the main spring): And the simplified version IKEA made from this:
Jim, that cleaned up very nicely!! Looks like it has a place of honour in the proper room...Congrats again!
Obviously this is the pick of the bunch! I assume you don't have a spare hanging around? the Mauthe looks good also.
I know this is non-sensical, but I can't bring mysefl to pay that much for a clock. If it was a watch, sure, 10x that, but for a clock, all I need is to be able to see the time!
and if you don't pay a reasonable amount of money for a clock you like it will start giving you the shits in about a week.
