Ah yellow gold............ So Omega only produced early Grand Luxe with yellow gold, rose gold and platinum? None with white gold? I think I should edit my post above with platinum.
A white gold one on a leather strap (without the bars above the lugs, sold at the Watches of Knightsbridge sale last Saturday at a hammer price of £3,000. Lot 281 if their catalogue is still on their web site.
I've been looking forward this part and it didn't disappoint. Thanks for great effort in making these reports, really good stuff
I might have bought a couple - hints about one dropped elsewhere on this forum. The other one was a real cheapo that I HAD to buy because it was so me.
What? No Globemaster? It's just a Constellation without the name. I'm quite surprised there's not one in Museum somewhere, gatorcpa
Yes.......... no Globemaster and its story (lawsuit about Constellation name) in the museum. I think most effort goes to Moon landing story and event surrounding it. The other only got limited real estate and attention.
The Globemaster is actually located in the American/Morris annex, behind the privy at the Bienne Municipal building
